  • Architected a VS-NfD-compliant production-grade RAG system for multilingual (German & English) aeronautical and defence documents.
  • Engineered an end-to-end document ingestion pipeline: parallelised dual-VLM processing (Gemma 4 + GLM-OCR) with layout-aware bounding-box extraction, a Bidirectional Spatial Engine for context-aware image captioning, custom HTML/LaTeX table parsing, and granular per-document AI controls.
  • Integrated hybrid Vector + BM25 keyword search with metadata filtering and a multilingual cross-encoder reranker, achieving a +7% relative nDCG uplift over pure dense retrieval on German and English domain specific corpora.
  • Shipped a multi-step agentic pipeline to production: a query router dispatches across Vector and BM25 tools based on query complexity, while Self-RAG regrounds outputs before response — a controlled eval measured +7pt Hit@1 and +3.5pt MRR over the non-agentic baseline; also prototyped a domain-specific Knowledge Graph schema achieving 0.98 precision on LLM-based triple extraction.
